Sunday Fun Day

This past weekend, Mom, Grandma and I spent a leisurely afternoon strolling downtown Ventura and taking in the sights.  It wasn't until later I realized that they too, were part of the Main Street spectacle.

 And for that, I love them even more.

Just Two Short Years Ago...

On Saturday, July 17, James and I rang in our second anniversary at the super chic restaurant, The Stonehouse, at the ritzy San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.  Known primarily for its breathtaking views of the "American Riviera", and celebrity-status digs, SYR did not disappoint with their gourmet farm-to-table menu featuring all things seasonal.  Underneath a huge oak tree on a starry night, we dined to our hearts (and stomachs) content, shared a lot of laughs and truly felt blessed by our marriage to one another.  The next day we spent enjoying the warm summer weather in beautiful Ojai and toasting our actual anniversary date, July 18.  I am blessed each day by James and I feel like the lucky one.

This blog is dedicated to connecting family and friends to our everyday lives.  It honestly felt like I blinked and 2010 was upon us, so this blog also serves as a reflection tool for me.  I hope you enjoy the posts as my imagination is running wild with topics and I figure they will be diverse and likely mundane to the average reader.  Note: You've been warned!

With that being said, thanks in advance to Grandma for being a loyal follower; because of you I know all of my late night writing isn't a complete waste of time.
